Meeting of UHMC forecasters with EUMETSAT instructor

During the internship of Ukrainian forecasters at the Finnish Meteorological Institute, our specialists met with the Training Officer at EUMETSAT Vesa Nietosvaara. They discussed issues of  satellite training for ukrainian experts and the ongoing development project between the Finnish Meteorological Institute and Ukrainian meteorological center. This project will offer Ukrainian operational forecasters enhanced systems to work with meteorological data, including new satellite products and imagery.

We shared with EUMETSAT the need of Ukrainian forecasters to have more satellite training resources in the region to help them use all  new available satellite capabilities. We thanks EUMETSAT for this fruitful discussion!
