Extreme fire hazard – weather conditions under which combination of high air temperature and rain (dry) weather leads to high probability of occurrence and rapid spread of forest fires, in presence of sources of fire (open fire). The intensity of the natural fire hazard (K), which defines the fire hazard class, is between 5 000 and 20 000 degrees.
Prolonged extreme fire hazard – the weather conditions under which the period of emergency fire danger is kept for a long time (more than 10 days), which leads to the immediate occurrence and spread of forest fires, if there are sources of fire (open fire). The intensity of the natural fire hazard (K) defined by the fire hazard class exceeds 20 000 degrees.
