At the end of the UHMC forecasters internship at the Finnish Meteorological Institute by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland Ulkoministeri ö - utrikesministeriet a meeting was initiated between the head of the Department of Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Sirpa Oksanen, project managers from FMI and forecasters from UHMC. They discussed the project results this year and outlined an action plan for the next one.

The Finnish side has expressed its readiness to continue supporting Ukraine, the project development and its financing.
