The privacy of users of the mobile application of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection,” the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable data protection laws in the user’s country of residence.

The application may collect the following information:
- Location data — used to provide weather information relevant to the user’s current location.
The application does not require user registration and does not collect personally identifiable information such as name, email address, or phone number.
- Purpose of Data Processing
The collected information is used solely for:
- Providing location-based weather information;
- Monitoring the proper functioning of the application;
- Analyzing application performance to improve our services.
Access to the data is limited to authorized employees of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center whose duties require such access.
Data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, but no longer than two (2) years.
- Data Sharing and Transfers
The application does not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer user data to third parties.
Application data is not transferred outside the European Union.
- User Consent
By using the application, the user agrees to this Privacy Policy and the processing of their data as described herein.
If the user does not agree with this Privacy Policy, they should discontinue use of the application.
